Description

The original CD was titled "Scandinavian Dances", but in reality these are a pair of Danish instrumental
groups performing mainly Danish and southern Swedish music.



1-14 "Rasmus" : A group named after the Danish c18 dancing master, whose music they perform here.  Unable to
find a web presence for them, though.



15-27 "Jydsk På Næsen" : A well-known (relatively!) folkgroup - http://www.jpnmusic.dk/





This music is fun, and very nicely performed.  Wholly instrumental, very precise, and while clearly "folk", is not dissimilar in style to other offerings that I would think of as being
closer to classical by broad definition (such as Playford dances, or many Eastern European folk renditions).



Tracks 17 and 18 are especially toetappy ^^
